BURTON BUSINESS CLUB AGM 2009

The Annual General Meeting of the Burton Business Club is taking place next Tuesday, 7 April 2009 at Branston Golf & Country Club, St Andrews Rooms, commencing 19.30 hrs. Non-members of the business community are welcome to attend.

As well as electing officers, the evening will also feature an interesting talk by Chris Knight on “Auntie the War's Over - A true story based on his wife’s Aunt with some unbelievable findings (i.e. 4,500 paper bags - all ironed & 300 pair of stockings!)”.

Burton Business Club is entering its 21st year and membership is increasing year on year.  It is run by business people for business people. Club meetings are held within Burton-upon-Trent and are a gathering of like minds to discuss matters of mutual interest.

At these meetings, there is the opportunity to talk about issues which members, as business people, regard as paramount. Members learn from each others’ experience, by discussing successes (and failures!).  “Burton Business Club is not just a networking club,” says chairman, Derek Liddle.   “We have created a friendly environment where members, and visitors, can openly discuss business matters, knowing that they will get a sympathetic and helpful response.”

Members of the Burton Business Club include printers, graphic designers, marketers, business consultants and there is room for many more.
