About Joanne Turner

I have worked within the IT industry since the early 90s - spending the best part of a decade working as a programmer/analyst within a large IT department of a financial services company. During this time I worked with a large range of programming languages - including COBOL, CICS, DB2, SQL, LotusNotes, LotusScript, Crystal Reports, Javascript and HTML - and worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst responsible for the development and implementation of database driven IT systems for various parts of the business. I started J Turner Web Services in 2007 and have built up a strong portfolio of websites developed for start-ups, small and medium sized enterprises. I am also now providing freelance web design and programming services - to enable companies without their own web designer, a way to develop their own web presence without taking on all of the costs of employing someone full-time.
