| Burton Business Club was founded in 1990s and is run by a committee of volunteers who are all business people in and around the town.
As business networking groups have risen in popularity in recent years, our club continues to thrive because of its relaxed, friendly and social atmosphere in which important business connections are made.
There is no pressure to refer business, but valuable contacts and opportunities for mutual assistance and collaboration are forged through Burton Business Club.
Our website is a major marketing tool available to all members to promote themselves and their company through news articles and blog posts as well as a Google-friendly business directory listing.
Local meetings cut down travelling time and expense for Burton-based businesses. Our evening start time is convenient for those who find early morning and lunch time networking difficult.
An annual membership fee of just £60 is affordable to all small businesses. There is no charge for the monthly meetings beyond the price of the meal – which is optional. Some members who find a 6pm start too early, or don’t want the meal, can join us at 7.30pm for the speaker and networking.
Each member has the chance to introduce themselves and what they do after the meal and there is also the opportunity to exchange business cards and promotional literature. Opportunities are offered for one business to do a five-minute ‘in a nutshell’ slot at each meeting explaining more about what they offer.
