Hi fellow members and friends.  As you will remember from the September meeting, where Steve Rhodes and myself presented Tutbury EcoPower as an exemplar organisation with vision and getting the best out of people, all of whom are volunteers.

Tutbury EcoPower Needs You

Well, Tutbury EcoPower are in the final 6 medium-sized projects of nearly 1000 community organisations in the Energyshare competition to win £75,000 for solar PV panels to put on community buildings in the community such as the village hall, the old school and the local primary school.  We are currently not in pole position but we have only 5 days until 3 December to vote in this national competition.  So please tell your friends and colleagues to support us by registering and voting on Energyshare’s Website. Tutbury EcoPower have the habit for winning as our latest award attests – We won the Special Environmental Award at Trent and Dove Housing Association’s Impact on the Community Awards evening on 11 November.
